Leader of the STL's

Wow! Does time just fly by when you are on the mission! I have just completed 13 months in Mexico! And on the 3 of May I will have 15 months in the mission in total. I can not believe how fast time goes.
I have and am loving every single moment of being a representative of my Savior Jesus Christ. I know He lives and I feel it every time I open my mouth and speak to another person who doesn’t know the gospel or who we are. It brings me such gratitude to tell them that my companion and I are representatives of HIM.

This week was a great week! I had to give a talk in my ward about missionary work and I just love talking about how we ALL can be missionaries. This past week my companion Hermana Cardona and I had changes and so I got to work with 2 of the Sister Trainer Leaders. The sisters are so great and I am so thankful for the blessing I have to be able to know all the sister trainer leaders. They help me and I am the one learning from THEM. Don’t know if I do much, but I love them and am thankful to be here. My companion and I and the assistants will be working on the leadership council this week because in 2 weeks we have the leadership council meeting. Gonna be working LOTS this next week!

I am so thankful to be able to work with Presdent Egbert. He is a great man who truly is inspired by God. I got to talk to him about seeing if I could extend my mission and………………sad news. I cannot because my time doesn’t fit in with the day of changes but it is okay I prayed a lot about it and well. I know that the Lord wants me to be back August 3rd. But until then we are working VERY VERY hard!

We have a lot of people who are listening to us and who have dates to be baptized. We have Jaime, a little old man who just went to church by himself one day and who wants to get baptized so bad. Just that he is hardly at home. But we have 2 christians named Lupita and her daughter named Monse. They are so awesome and Lupita loves the church so much. We also have a cute couple named David and Alejandra with their cute little daughter who always yells at us saying “AMIGGAASSS” haha and we have so many more and we know they can progress.

I love teaching The Restoration and I think I probably taught it about 16 times this week! Heh, but it was so wonderful. I know that Christ really came down and established order and established his church with Prophets, apostles, revelation and authority. And when the people rejected him and his apostles the church was lost. But I know that God loves his children and for that he called a prophet to restore the church of Jesus Chrisdt. He didn’t call Jose Smith, el Profeta, to reform or make his own church but to restore it. I know the church of Jesus Christ again is here on the earth and that we are here to make covenants with the Lord and that now we can because the authority is here on the earth again! I love my Savior and I know He lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is the key to know if the church is true. I am thankful to be the light and know why we are here and know what is in store for us if we come unto Christ. It’s a beautiful plan. Come unto Christ! That is my invitation to you all. Get to know him and FOLLOW him! Have a wonderful week!
