Hola Everyone!
Sorry I wasnt able to write an email last week but I have one for you guys this week!...Well that is, if the computer doesn't shut down on me! But I am doing good!
Last week we had interviews with Presidente and Presidente and Sister Egbert came and visited us and it was so awesome! I really needed them and it was nice to talk to them and get guidance and help. And Presidente made me realize that I haven't even been out here for a month and so I shouldnt worry to much about not being fluent...haha, I guess I just want to talk and communicate and I will :) Just takes time and hard work.
But this week was pretty good! We have a baptism this Friday for a sweet sweet lady named Margarita and I am really excited for her. She is just loving everything and has such a sweet spirit. I am also teaching English classes this Wednesday and Saturday...kind of nervous because I am not fluent in Spanish but they want it and we think it would be a great way to get people to come to church and get to know more of the people who live here in little Guerrero. And speaking of Guerrero, it has been killing some of the members that I dont know where exactly my Guerrero side of the family is from so Mom please let me know :D As for now I just tell them that we are all family and it is good.
I am finally starting to feel adjusted to my new life here in Mexico and I am not completely there but I am a lot better! But even then that doesn't mean I dont make mistrakes...lets see..this week I accidentally said a young boy names joseph smith was 40 years old insteasd of 14 haha and then I said God is our mother in Heaven! aye yay yay! I am CONSTANTLY humbled and every single day I pray to Heavenly Father and ask Him to be with me. I am so weak without Him and I need Him to do this! But its been so fun and such an adventure!!! Hahaha dogs here are crazy and so many of the meals I eat here have cactus and insects in them and it is just crazy! Oh and the lady, Rosario who cut in animal in front of us is getting baptized and we are so excited!! We have baptismal dates but our investigators have to attend church 4 times before they get baptized so we are just waiting out and seeing what happens! I got a haircut today and we are in Tepa right now because it has stores and such so Mondays are always crazy adventures! But I am doing good and Presidente has given us the challenge to reasd the BOM in a month and talk to EVERY person we come in contact with! Its terrifying but exciting!
I am so excited for Kayla, Josh, and Andrea!!! That is so awesome!!!! I am excited for you all and send you my Congrats and love!! Lets do this!! I hope you all are doing well in the States and I send my love from Mexico! Oh and yesterday was such an awesome day because I bore my testinmony in Spanish for the first time! I love you all! And with God nothing is impossible! Not even Spanish!
Fear Not, Doubt Not
Con Amor,
Hermana Guerrero
